What is DONTBUYTHEGAMES.ORG?

  1. We are joining together with one voice to express our disdain for the IOC and its president, Jacques Rogge, in their refusal to acknowledge the full extent of their social responsibility in making China the host country for these Games.
  2. Together, we intend to put pressure on our political leaders by capitalizing on the media exposure offered by the 2008 Beijing Games. We, the citizens of the world, are aware of the policy of suppressing human rights in China and demand that concrete measures be taken to change the situation.
  3. We want to rally the people of the world around a single theme: let’s get back to true Olympic values!
